A thief was caught on camera taking a mobile phone from the Kaneshie Market. The onlookers forgave him after he was caught.

The incident happened on a day when most people were not able to use their phones. In the video, the thief is seen using a broom to clean up the area.

The video showed that the market's customers had tied a rope around the thief's waist and used it to sweep the area. As the customer was walking back to his booth, an unidentified individual hit the thief's face with a slap before he returns to his booth. Although the onlookers forgave him, they did not exactly hit him.
