Inter Milan topped Serie A after a thumping of bottom club Salernitana thanks to a hat-trick from Lautaro Martinez.
Inter is one point ahead of both Napoli and AC Milan, who face in a crucial match in Naples on Sunday.
Martinez scored his first goal, ending a nine-game goal drought, and then added the second, both of which were set up by Nicolo Barella.
He scored his third goal off a feed from Edin Dzeko, who also scored the final two goals.
Martinez's first three Serie A goals came in 2022, following his last league strike, also in a 5-0 triumph, came against the same opponents in December.
With 11 games remaining, the top three are separated by only one point - however Inter will be knocked off top spot on Sunday, regardless of the outcome of the Napoli-Milan match.
