PSG had another night to forget in the Champions League this week, as they were knocked out by Real Madrid.
The Parisian giants appeared to be on track when Kylian Mbappe doubled their lead in the tie with a rasping first-half finish.
What happened in the second half, on the other hand, will haunt those players for a long time.
Unfortunately, PSG have developed a reputation in Europe for capitulating at the first sign of pressure, and they lived up to that reputation once again in Madrid.
The capitulation at the Bernabeu would have been shocking if it hadn't been PSG, but it almost felt inevitable.
Karim Benzema's spectacular smash and grab
While most fans are picketing, rioting, and demanding the heads of players like Pascal Kimpembe and Marquinhos, a fascinating image has been quietly making the rounds on Reddit. The image shows a gaping hole in PSG's 'formation,' with the midfield and defensive lines holding firm while the much-vaunted front three are miles away in the distance.
Lionel Messi, Neymar, and Kylian Mbappe were expected to brush aside all comers when they finally got to play together, but the image below may show that they are the problem for PSG.
When you consider how hard every single player on that Real Madrid team worked to make that comeback possible, this is not a good sign.
