The Central Regional Police Command has three people in custody for defiling a 10-year-old child in Abura Edumfa, Abura Asebu Kwamankese District.
John Amoah, 28, Frederick Nyarko, 42, and John Ofori, 45, have been named as suspects.
They have been remanded in custody and are scheduled to appear in front of the court on April 21, 2022.
In a statement, the Regional Police Public Affairs Unit confirmed this, adding that attempts were underway to apprehend the fourth person to aid with the investigation.
"The Police Command is appealing to the general public for anyone with credible information on the whereabouts of the fourth suspect, Kojo, to attend to the nearest Police station and aid with investigations, or call the Toll Free number 18555."
"By implementing the law, the Command is ensuring the general public that it will continue to protect life and property," the statement said.
As a result, she has requested that the police prosecute the perpetrators and apprehend the last suspect in order to bring justice to her daughter.
According to the victim, one of his attackers sent her out to purchase him something on Thursday evening, and when she returned, he told her to enter into the room and drop the item.
