Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene, will visit the 2022 Memphis in May International Festival in the United States of America (USA), which will honor Ghana's culture and legacy.

In the festival's 45-year history, the friendly and varied city of Memphis, Tennessee, has dedicated the festival to a new nation and culture each year, and this year, the event is honoring Ghana's culture and legacy.

The promoters noted in a statement dated April 7, 2022, "There is already a great lot of enthusiasm and expectation for the homage to Ghana, the sixth African nation acknowledged by Memphis in May International Festival.""

The event aims to contribute to the community's economic progress, inspire civic pride, raise knowledge of Memphis's heritage, and foster international partnerships.

""As part of the Memphis in May International homage to the Republic of Ghana," Memphis organizers said, "the Asantehene's visit to Memphis will highlight some of Ghana's culture and customs."
