Liverpool are considering a shock move for Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos in the summer transfer window. Spain international has been with Los Blancos since 2017, when he signed from fellow La Liga club Real Betis.
One of the most promising midfield prospects in the country at the time of his arrival, Ceballos struggled to establish himself as a regular at Real Madrid in his first two campaigns. Having struggled for playing time, Dani left Los Blancos to join Arsenal on a season-long loan deal in 2019.
The 25-year-old midfielder had a decent spell at Arsenal, which was enough for the London giants to re-sign him on a temporary deal for the 2020/21 season as well. The Spanish midfielder featured 77 times for the Gunners in his two years at Arsenal, scoring two goals and setting up five more.
Back at Real Madrid, the Spaniard was linked with an exit in the summer of last year, but an injury prevented a transfer. Having returned to action recently, the former Real Betis midfielder has featured 11 times for Carlo Ancelotti’s men.
