Ever since the arrival of the German tactician Thomas has done an impressive work at the Standford bridge by bringing this Chelsea that was once lifeless back to life.

The German tactician has won a series of trophies including the champions league and has already established himself as on of the best coaches to ever walk the premier league.

With Rudiger set on a potential move to real Madrid and James too who is set to join Madrid after they have all failed to get into understanding to meet the needs of each other in order to extend their contact at the Standford bridge.

Chelsea now set to look for a potential replacement for the outgoing stars especially Eudiger who is certain of a departure at the end of the season .

Tottenham are reportedly fearful of missing out on the signature of RB Leipzig defender Josko Gvardiol, who’s been linked with Chelsea this week.Per multiple reports, the 20-year-old Bundesliga star has been a “prime defensive target” for Spurs ahead of the summer.

However, the report adds Antonio Conte’s Spurs are now fearing stronger competition for the centre-back.This comes at a time where Chelsea are now receiving links to Gvardiol.

It’s been reported that Thomas Tuchel’s side are eyeing the Leipzig centre-half as a summer target, and he’s someone that’s been admired by the Blues for a long time.Gvardiol, who could reportedly cost £50million to prize away from Germany, is a talented left-footed defender.

The young Croatia international may need to be looked at as a replacement for Antonio Rudiger ahead of his departure this summer. It may help that he already plays in a back three with his current side.

It’s obvious Chelsea are on the backfoot for transfers this summer given the takeover saga is still ongoing, meaning they remain under sanctions and are unable to sign players. However, the Blues fanbase are desperate for the new owners to make a real statement in the transfer market during their first window in charge.

The Blues are yet to get their top-four finish completely wrapped up yet, so they may need a couple more results in the final four games of the season to make sure.

They’ve been comfortably third for months now, but a late collapse threatens to ruin the work in the league.

It’s absolutely imperative the club have Champions League football next season to attract the very best, especially because it looks like a big defensive rebuild is needed.
