Politicians draped in flowing robes and kente in kaleidoscope of colors arrived on the Jubilee House between March 2017 and March 2019.

Their role was to administer oaths of office, which included promises to safeguard and defend the constitution, among other things. Before assuming office, they were compelled by the constitution to declare their holdings.

On July 18, 2017, President Akufo-Addo issued an order requiring all of his appointees to declare their holdings.

After five years, The Fourth Estate investigated if they had kept their word.

The Fourth Estate discovered that just 18 out of more than 120 ministers complied entirely with the constitutional mandate in Article 268 (1) of the 1992 Constitution after submitting a Right to Information (RTI) request to the Audit Service.
