Following the end of her eleven-year partnership, Shakira breaks her quiet on social media.
After rumours of adultery surfaced, the singer and sportsman Gerard Pique separated up.
Despite her difficulties, she turned to Instagram to celebrate the premiere of the most recent episode of her new programme, Dancing With Myself.
She was seen dancing with her co-judges Nick Jonas and Liza Koshy in the video.
The photograph was captioned by her as follows: "Tonight's episode of Dancing With Myself is not to be missed! On @nbc at 10 p.m. and 9 p.m "..
She was dressed in a bright yellow outfit with built-in gloves, as she always was.
Her honey blonde hair was styled in loose waves, and she wore a natural make-up look.
Before one of the crew members could shout, "One minute away guys!" the trio executed a Mexican wave of dance movements together.
On June 4, Shakira and Gerard issued a joint statement in both English and Spanish.
"We hate to inform you that we have decided to part ways. We ask that you respect the privacy of our children, as their safety is our first priority."
Just days before the statement was released, rumours started spreading that Shakira had found her long-term spouse having an affair.
After Shakira apparently learned he had been cheating, he was said to be "living alone in his own apartment for weeks" in Spain.
Neither has responded to the allegations.
The couple has two children, Milan, 9, and Sasha, 7, and never married because Gerard "loved it the way it was."
"No, I'm not married," he told Gary Neville during an appearance on The Overlap. It's the way she thinks.
"I enjoy where we're at right now. We currently have two children, ages nine and seven. We get along well as a pair."
"[Gerard is] with me because he wants to be with Shakira the person, not the fame," Shakira told Latina magazine in 2014.
"There is genuine affection; there are no hidden agendas." And I'm accompanying him because he's the most incredible man I've ever met. We have similar desires, enjoy similar things, and despise similar things. I've never been in a relationship with someone who is so enthusiastic about what they do."
When Gerard was practising in Madrid before of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, the two crossed paths.
"It all started while we were in South Africa and I wrote to her," Gerard recounted.
A year later, they confirmed their relationship.
