The member of parliament for Ningo-pramparam Sam Dzata George has hit back at a troll who tried attacking him. Sam George is famously known on Twitter for his non-tolerant to trolls and disrespectful people on the microblogging App. Once you attack him, be ready for the consequences because he is going to come back at you in a more devastating manner.
Sam George is a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), while they were in power, Ghanaians complained of frequent lights off and the ruling party the New Patriotic Party (NPP) promised Ghanaians of stable electricity once they come to power. However, after they were voted into power the lights off are worsening day in and day out. Sam Dzata George decided to call out the president on why they have failed the people.
Taking to his official Twitter handle he wrote;
“Dear @NAkufoAddo, my lights have been off since 6:30 am. What’s up? E is dumsor or yes???”.
A troll felt offended by the MP’s utterances and decided to hit back at him, taking to the comments section the troll replied;
“You no dey pay light bill but you dey complain”.
Sam George after seeing this reply decided to hit back at the troll and a more serious way, replying to the troll's comment he replied
“My weekly light bill be your yearly living expense. Don’t infect my timeline with your poverty mentality. Off you go!”.
The banter went on and one guy in the comments also added that the government-elected MP enjoys heavy ex-gratia which puts them ahead of the ordinary Ghanaian. This reply from user prompted a very rude reply from the MP. Reacting to this the MP wrote;
“You speak as if I was living on a tree and eating grass before being elected? Go and find out how cheap it is to run a campaign and come back again to talk about ex-gratia whatever”.
