President Nana Akufo-Addo is fulfilling his personal national cathedral vow to God, according to Prophet Dr. Kofi Oduro of the Alabaster International Ministry.

According to Prophet Oduro, the President and the administration stated that no public monies would be utilized to build the cathedral, but this is no longer the true.

On Monday, 13 June 2022, Prophet Oduro, who supports the idea of a national cathedral, told OB Nartey on the first episode of No.1 FM's mid-morning show Nyame Nsa Wom that the president and the administration are going about it incorrectly.

"Anyone who claims that a national cathedral is unnecessary since we already have a national mosque is missing the point."   Even Christians would remark that the essence and necessity for a national cathedral are great, but the method we are going about it, if we are not cautious, will offend God," he warned.

"Let me take the national mosque as an example of how the administration is going about this whole affair; not a single cedi of this country was utilized in the construction of the national mosque." It was constructed by the Turkish government and Ghana's Muslim community. Why can't the national cathedral be treated in the same way? "Why are we going to tax the entire country for this?"

"There are a few things that aren't quite right." The president made a solemn promise to God. This method, but not that pledge, must be redeemed.

"The goal is spot on. We need a national cathedral, but your technique is flawed," he informed the president, emphasizing that his methodology was "completely flawed."

"You stated that no state funds would be utilised. There are no state funding necessary. That is a ruse. That is a fabrication. He responded, "You're constructing something for God."

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, in his opinion, could have simply welcomed businessmen and women to the Jubilee House and presented his financing request to them, and he would have been shocked if just one individual had donated $100 million to the construction of the national cathedral.

"However, the way we're going about it, we're going to smear the names of all these guys of integrity on the national cathedral's board of directors."

"With this national cathedral, we'll demolish their reputation," he said.

Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta recently questioned if spending public monies to construct the national cathedral that President Nana Akufo-Addo vowed to build for God if he won the president was excessive.

"Was there ever a moment in Europe when these structures were created that was the correct time?" In an interview broadcast on state-owned GTV on Sunday, June 12th, 2022, he questioned, "How do we fund it?"

"Is the CEO aware of the current situation?" He stated, "We should not suffocate our religiousness or spirituality because we are impoverished."

"If we put our widow's mite in there, the Lord will understand," Mr. Ofori-Atta said.
