This young lady's emotional Father's day piece will get you thinking

It's Father’s Day,
Some will celebrate their fathers others won’t, some still have their fathers here others do not. These are clearly stated and accepted facts.
Some may not celebrate or acknowledge anyone because of the things they may have been through at some point of their lives or even all through their lives because of the man they called abba’’
Some of us are young and may not be able to understand why some fathers do what they do, all we know is the pain and trauma it causes innocent children and the effect it has on them as they grow how long it takes for some people to get over them if ever they are able to get over them.
Some of the fathers of old have already made mistakes they wish they never made looking back. Some of us blame them without thinking about the obstacles and challenges they met and had to confront.

Young men,
Watching your fathers and hearing stories of other fathers and the issues some children go through because of misplacement of parental responsibilities and other factors.
Do not just look on, read their stories, criticize the men and go on living usual lives. If possible sit back and study, pray for strength, plan well and make it an ardent priority and desire in your heart to one day be a good father not just from when your child is born, but until that child sings hymns for you as you are laid finally to bed or otherwise as life may decide it.

This is life,
Even as you plan intentionally to be a good father and be there we all know you will be faced with many challenges that may break you down at many points, and that’s what makes us human, one of these challenges may come from the woman with whom you are raising these children,
It may come from the society from where you are raising them your job, your health, finances, family, your friends many which I cannot list all because I am young and do not know all about life, But in all the challenges and the hurdles purpose in your heart to fulfill the responsibilities given to you with that gift you were blessed with.
Young women,
In as much as we look at love, and the nice things of today, let’s pray , study, learn and plan to make choices with our children and our future homes in mind.
The choices we make today, the red flags we ignore today, the advices we ignore to today, will come back at us in few years to come. And we may end up painting I’m the fathers of our children bad, meanwhile they didn’t choose their fathers we did.

We do not choose our fathers, but we are given a golden opportunity to accept and decide who the fathers of our children will be.
Through the dark nights, through the tears, through the pain, through the experiences, through praying, by taking tough decisions, may God lead all single women looking to fulfill purpose and lead a life that brings glory to God and their society to remove all scales of their eyes and choose right.

My Sincere Heartfelt Prayer
For Young Unmarried Men,
May God lead all young men with a sincere heart longing to be a blessing to God and their society to find women who compliment them and bring out the best in them. Who will help them fulfill purpose and the strength to raise mentally stable, godly kids for God and country. Not women who will drain them of the strength to continue with the responsibility given them.
For the married,
To those already in marriages , both mothers and fathers I pray for God’s blessings , counsel, mercy and grace for you and your families.
For those hurt and wounded,
I pray for the strength to forgive spouses who have hurt either you or your kids so badly that you have purposed never to let go. I pray for the strength to forgive and let go of all anger bitterness and raise the gift you have from God.
My heart is heavy as I write these words, These are my conversations with myself first for me. And I felt led to share especially with today’s young people.
