On Tuesday, June 27, 2022, Bice Osei Kuffour, the managing director of Ghana Post, led a team of employees and a strategic partner, Three Turns Shipping, in an effort to court Royal Mail, one of the largest postal services in the United Kingdom, and explore potential areas of cooperation and consolidation.

Addressing a prominent Royal Mail leadership, Mr. Osei Kuffour highlighted his intention to create the necessary collaborations with industry titans, share expertise and experiences, and learn best practises while exploring creative methods to provide Ghana Post consumers with first-rate services.

He hinted that Ghana Post will find inspiration and a chance to learn best practises from leading members of the sector during a visit of the Royal Mail's state-of-the-art facilities.

Royal Mail has advanced from an early manual operation to postal services using cutting-edge technology.

Despite the fact that Ghana Post and Royal Mail are both members of the UPU, this is the first time a managing director from Ghana Post has visited the 1516-founded Royal Mail on business.

Since Ghana Post was established in 1854 while Ghana was a British colony, the visit of Ghana Post to Royal Mail is still highly important and relevant.

Mr. Osei Kuffour suggested exchanges between the two organisations, allowing Ghana Post workers to participate in practical training attachments with Royal Mail while extremely knowledgeable pension staff from Royal Mail provide consulting to Ghana Post, among other strategic connections.

The eagerness and thoughtfulness of Mr. Osei Kuffour in approaching Royal Mail for the goal of working exchange and knowledge transfer pleased Simon Thompson, CEO of Royal Mail, and his staff.

Nick Landon, the Chief Commercial Officer of Royal Mail, underlined Royal Mail's desire to collaborate strategically with Ghana Post for the benefit of both organisations.

As he works to entice major postal organisations to form new partnerships and alliances that would accelerate expansion, Ghana Post's new managing director's determination to take the company to new heights appears to have no bounds.

Nick Landon (CCO Royal Mail), Antony Harvey (International Managing Director), and Eric Ashiagbor attended the conference as representatives of Royal Mail (London Jubilee Plant Manager), The manager of London Mount Pleasant, Jay Brooks, and Kevin Cooper (Head of Processing).

Robert Aseidu, the head of international affairs for the Ghana Post, Nana Yaw Osei-Darkwa, the head of government business and external relations, Hanson Owusu, the CEO of Three Turns Shipping, and Kwesi Gyesi made up the team (MD, TTL Belgium). The organisation of the meeting was handled by Odana Consult, a division of GUBA Enterprise UK.
