Organizer behind the Atta Mills Institute, Koku Anyidoho, has portrayed as ludicrous and false cases that he has uncovered the body of the late President John Evans Atta Mills.
He pondered "how" something like this was conceivable when the Asomdwee Park where the late President was covered is a security zone safeguarded 24 hours by public safety agents.
"Indeed, even in our own little ways as families, as gatherings, as associations, don't we do headstones to recollect the dead, and when we are doing it do we unearth bodies? Do we, we don't? All we've done is to construct a decent resting place for the president. No one has contacted anyone," Mr Anyidoho said.
"Public safety possesses this spot and 24 hours they are here, so I accompanied pick hatchet and digging tool and I came to uncovered the body and conveyed it on my back and removed it? It's crazy, it's impractical, it's false," he included a meeting with Accra-based Metro TV.
Mr Samuel Atta Mills, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Komenda-Edina-Eguafo Abirem and sibling of the late President Atta Mills, denounced the Coastal Development Authority and the Atta Mills Institute drove by Mr Anyidoho, of contaminating the burial place of the previous President.
"A gathering calling itself Atta Mills Institute that the family doesn't perceive, and Coastal Development Authority, have gone to break the grave of President John Evans Atta Mills".
"They have eliminated the burial chamber, and they guarantee that they are modifying it," the late President's sibling told the Parliamentary press corps.
The sibling of the late President depicted the activity by the gathering as socially hostile.
He additionally weeped over the gathering's dismissal for the group of the late President.
"That's what my inquiry is: the reason will you contact somebody's grave without the family's consent?"
"We have customs. Since they have contacted somebody's grave, is the body still in there? What did you place in that grave? What sort of customs did you perform around there? For what reason will you proceed to contact the grave without illuminating us? Who has the body now? Waterfront Development Authority under whose authority did you do this? For what reason do you generally make us go through sadness without fail?" he inquired.
"Also, you permit that Koku Anyidoho, that joker working with Atta Mills Institute, purported, to proceed to contact this grave without illuminating our family head. This is a previous president. For what reason will the public authority permit this to occur?"
"This is an affront to the family. This is an affront to [us], the Akans. This is an affront to the country… " he added.
The Asomdwee Park, where the late president was covered, had been in an unfortunate state because of absence of support.
The Coastal Development Authority (CODA) and the Atta Mills Institute have revamped the recreation area and are planned to introduce it on Sunday, July 24, 2022, to stamp the 10-year commemoration of the demise of Prof Mills.
John Evans Fiifi Atta Mills filled in as President of Ghana from 2009 until his demise in 2012. He was beforehand the Vice-President from 1997 to 2001 under President Jerry Rawlings.
He Is the main Ghanaian head of state to pass on in office.
