Samuel Atta Mills, a brother of the late President John Evans Atta Mills, has said that Koku Anyidoho, the head of the Atta Mills Institute, has no authority to request the autopsy report of the late President.

Asserting that "Sammy Atta Mills has questions to answer," Koku Anyidoho dared Samuel Atta Mills to present the autopsy report on the death of his brother in a Tuesday interview with JoyNews.

In response to Koku Anyidoho's demand, the KEEA MP stated that Mr. Anyidoho has no right to request the autopsy report in an interview on Upfront on Wednesday.

"For the family, the autopsy report is personal. Is he related to you? What right does he have to demand an autopsy report? The autopsy report was taken from the 37 MH. We visited AMA in the 37 Military Hospital. We had to transport the autopsy report there since Professor Mills was buried there with a death certificate from the AMA. They gave us the burial certificate at that point. He said, "What is his business asking?

Why Atta Mills Institute, a non-governmental organisation, is in charge of Asombwe Park, the MP complained. Sunday will commemorate the 10-year anniversary of former president John Evans Atta Mills' passing.

After a memorial ceremony of gratitude, President Akufo-Addo will inaugurate the Asomdwe Park, according to Mr. Anyidoho.

He vowed that "John Dramani Mahama and Sammy Atta Mills will never enter the site to conduct anything there" following the commissioning.

Samuel Atta Mills refused to go to his late brother's memorial funeral when asked whether he would. Why would I go there in the morning if I wasn't invited?

He questioned what authority he had to intimidate us by refusing to let us visit Asomdwe Park.

The late President's family had charged the Atta Mills Institute and the Coastal Development Authority of desecrating the remains of the late President by starting renovations without consulting them and removing the tomb of John Evans Atta Mills.

But the Coastal Development Authority stated in a statement on Wednesday that there was no desecration of the remains because the grave had not been uncovered.
