Schooling Minister, Dr. Yaw Osei-Adutwum has affirmed that administration owes the National Food Buffer Stock Company a remarkable measure of GH¢ 340 million.

The public authority's obligation to the organization and different elements has occasioned a deficiency of food things in a few secondary schools in the country.

Responding to the Education Minister's comments on Eyewitness News, the Executive Director of Africa Education Watch, Kofi Asare, said he was not persuaded by the affirmations.

He sees the deficiencies as a Finance Ministry issue and said the Education Ministry brings no answer for the table to the extent that the lack of food things in schools is concerned.

I will take a confirmation from the Ministry of Finance in light of the fact that the issue is totally outside the domain or the purview of the Ministry of Education,he said.

I will take confirmations from the Ministry of Finance that the Finance Ministry will regard the payment or the income projections as submitted to it by the Ministry of Education. Other than that, we will have this conversation in something like two months once more.
