Why the electorate of Lagos will reappoint me in 2023
Lead representative Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos state has said he is certain the state's electorates will reappoint him to run state undertakings for an additional four years.
He talked during a discussion on Channels TV's Sunday Politics program.
Sanwo-Olu, alongside 14 others, they will push for the governorship in 2023.
He said his organization had brought advancement that state inhabitants can see and feel.
"I dealt with the city crisis. Only today, there are crises that have been accounted for just today," she said.
"I have enrolled in excess of 650 men from the fire administration. I have purchased 64 new trucks that will come, I will welcome them for the appointing.
"I spent in excess of a billion to eliminate the trash in Lagos. We are making a landfill. We're doing that. We are building 1,000 miles of hard-cleared streets adding up to during the several billions.
"We are building the biggest market in the country since that is the thing we are doing."
Inquired as to whether he saw one of his challengers, Olajide Adediran of the DPP and his delegate, Funke Akindele, a producer, as a danger, he said he is the favored up-and-comer since he has more insight.
"All in all, similar to I said, on the off chance that you have a crisis, who might you call? What are your possibilities? You call the one who has the experience that he's experienced the channels before he's lived with it that he comprehends what the issues are, he said.
"Valuing the test you have even at 3 am or will you pass on your chance to somebody who doesn't have any idea where the dial is or doesn't have any idea what the administration issues are? This is Lagos.
"This is an educated crowd. This isn't a casual get-together. We are discussing genuine administration. We are discussing the existences of in excess of 20 million Nigerians.
Sanwo-Olu added that Lagos can't be left in that frame of mind of somebody who "can't maintain a business that has 100 individuals."
