For a long time, Real Madrid has had relatively quiet transfer windows. Yes, the club made a big move for Aurelien Tchouameni in the summer, but players like Casemiro, Marcelo, Gareth Bale, and Isco also went in the opposite direction. Los Blancos have shifted away from their Galactico philosophy in recent years.
However, it appears that the club has set its sights on a few big names for the upcoming summer transfer windows, one of whom is Jude Bellingham of Borussia Dortmund.
Bellingham appears to be Europe's next big midfield star. He is already captaining a historic club like Borussia Dortmund at the age of 19. That is a one-of-a-kind accomplishment in and of itself.
Several clubs, including Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea, and Manchester United, have been linked with a move for Bellingham next summer. However, it appears that Real Madrid is the frontrunner in the race to sign him.
Real Madrid received a €100 million transfer boost in the race against Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United, and others.
According to Relevo, Bellingham is considering leaving Borussia Dortmund next summer in order to play for Real Madrid. He believes that staying at the Santiago Bernabeu is the best option for his future.Of course, Bellingham is not believed to have ruled out any options, but Real Madrid appear to be at the top of his list when it comes to taking the next step in his career.
Let us wait and see what the future holds. A lot can change during the course of the season. Real Madrid already has a fantastic core of future midfielders in Federico Valverde, Tchouameni, and Eduardo Camavinga. If they can add Bellingham to that mix, they may have the best midfield in Europe for the next decade.
