The Phobians have revealed that the 2022 World Cup hero has extended his stay at the club while withholding contract specifics.

The current FA Cup champions, who were in danger of losing the attacker to a free transfer, received a significant boost from this.

According to a club statement,

Daniel Afriyie Barnich's contract with Accra Hearts of Oak: PLC has been renewed, the club's management is happy to inform its adoring fans.

Afriyie joined Hearts three seasons ago, and since then he has proven to be a great talent, earning him positions of leadership and importance in all of Ghana's national teams, including the Under-20 team, the Under-23 team, the Black Galaxies, and the main Black Stars squad.


He was a member of the Ghanaian team that competed in the Qatar-hosted FIFA World Cup in 2022. With Hearts of Oak, he also won the Premiership, the FA Cup, and the President's Cup, among other trophies.

In due future, the dub will publish more information on Daniel Afriyie Barnich.

Afriyie Barnieh is reportedly set to join FC Zurich following the CHAN competition, according to local media reports, who also claim that the deal has been finalized.

Currently playing with the Black Galaxies is the highly regarded football player.

Afriyie Barnieh joined Hearts in July 2019 and quickly established himself as a key member of the squad after helping the side win two championships in 2020–21.


The former Ghana U20 captain played a key role in the most recent pre-tournament friendly encounter against Switzerland in Abu Dhabi and was left off the final Black Stars team.
