Mudasiru Salifu, a midfielder for Asante Kotoko, has officially signed with Al Batin FC.

According to the club's announcement, "The signing process with the Ghanaian player Mudasiro Salifu has been completed by the club management."

The midfielder, who joined Sherrif Tiraspol in July of last year, enjoyed a good loan stint there before joining Al Batin for the balance of the 2022–23 campaign.

The 25-year-old midfielder has the possibility to be signed by Al Batin on a long-term basis if he performs well during his brief stay.

In the Moldovan League, UEFA Champions League qualifying, UEFA Europa League playoff, and Europa League group stages, Salifu made 21 games for Sherrif.

With just a point after 11 rounds of games, Al Batin is now in last place in the Saudi Pro League, and improvement will be needed with the signing of Salifu.

Salifu joins former Black Stars midfielder Afriyie Acquah as the second Ghanaian player to play for Al Batin from July 2021 until January 2022.
