Since the early 21st century, Paris Saint-Germain, better known as PSG, has established itself as one of the best clubs in Europe.

Their success is due to the creative players they have brought over the years: Salvatore Silig is the greatest goalkeeper of all time. The Italian goalkeeper, from 2011 until 2017 he kept his sheet clean with 84 in his 190 games he played for PSG.

Thiago Silva and Marquinhos are his best center defenders ever. Thiago Silva played for PSG from 2011 to 2020 and Marquinhos from 2013.

Marco Verratti and Ronaldinho are his best central midfielders in PSG history. Since 2012, Ronaldinho has scored 25 goals and provided 17 assists, while Verratti has scored 11 goals and provided 61 assists.

Neymar Jr. and Kylian Mbappe are the best wingers in PSG history. The two have been playing for PSG since 2017. Mbappe has scored 191 goals and provided 93 assists in 239 games, while Neymar has provided PSG with 115 goals and 73 assists in all competitions.

Arsenal turn attention to Real Valladolid right-back Ivan Fresneda

Arsenal are in the race for Real Valladolid right-back Iván Fresneda and are seriously interested in the teenager, according to The Telegraph Sport.

Arsenal, which faces competition from teams across Europe, including Newcastle United, have revealed their admiration for the 18-year-old in recent days.

Valladolid have admitted Fresneda could leave the club this month, but it is understood they may prefer to wait until the summer to make a move on him if Arsenal decide to increase interest.

Fresneda has enjoyed a breakthrough season in La Liga this year and is a regular starter for the Spanish side battling relegation.

The final price will depend on the number of teams placing formal bids, but is believed to be available at around £10m to £15m. Arsenal are weighing options for full-backs and a possible transfer of Fresneda could come with the possible exit of Fulham target Cedric Soares.

Fresneda fits into Arsenal's current hiring model of acquiring young players with growth potential. He is an international youth player in Spain where he spent four years in his Madrid academy at Real Madrid.

Earlier this month, Valladolid coach Pacheta said Fresneda is playing with the maturity of a 30-year-old.

"It's a great acquisition," Pacheta said. "I would prefer him to stay here, but I understand the club and I agree with everything they do with players.

"It's good for a player that he can keep playing, but I'm sure he'll do that wherever he goes.

The arrival of Fresneda has nothing to do with Arsenal's pursuit of winger Mihailo Mudrik from Shakhtar Donetsk. Arsenal have been negotiating with the Ukrainian side for weeks, but lost to Chelsea in dramatic circumstances on Saturday.

Arsenal will try to focus on targeting the replacement striker after chasing down Joao Felix in a loss to Chelsea earlier this month.
