The creator of the Power Chapel Worldwide is being urged by North Tongu MP Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa to resign from the National Cathedral's Board of Trustees immediately.

He said that Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng fabricated criminal numerous identities while serving as the Board's Secretary, which is why he should resign.

The MP said in a Facebook post on Monday that Mr. Kusi Boateng registered a business under the name "Kwabena Adu Gyamfi" and utilised that firm to acquire money from the National Cathedral.

According to him, this creates a conflict of interest, which is why the preacher needs to step down to allow for inquiries into the fraud. "There is no unique Kwabena Adu Gyamfi, just to be clear. The criminal Kwabena Adu Gyamfi was conceived by Rev. Victor Kusi-Boateng. Consequently, the two are interchangeable.

The day of reckoning is finally arrived, but Rev. Victor Kusi-Boateng, also known as Kwabena Adu Gyamfi, believed he had outsmarted every Ghanaian, especially our officials, whom he had dribbled for many years.

Rev. Victor Kusi-Boateng AKA Kwabena Adu Gyamfi utilizes several passports and various identity cards with different names and different dates of birth as his specific mode of operation, according to uncontestable and irrefutable documentation in my hands, Mr. Ablakwa said.

Along with urging the theologian to step down, he also stated that Rev. Victor Adu Gyamfi, also known as Kwabena Adu Gyamfi, "must be forced to reimburse any government cash siphoned into his firm, JNS.

To hold Rev. Victor Adu Gyamfi, also known as Kwabena Adu Gyamfi, accountable for his numerous additional crimes that have since come to light, he has to be the subject of rigorous, reliable investigations.

The MP further demanded that the President disband the whole National Cathedral Board and said that a "special forensic audit" of the current National Cathedral project was necessary.

The NDC lawmaker's accusations and demands come as ongoing public discussions regarding the National Cathedral project's applicability continue.

The timing of the building is wise, say the project's detractors, even if they acknowledge the necessity to honour God.

They contend that the government should not concentrate on such a project given the severe economic crisis the nation is currently experiencing and the obvious suffering and dwindling macroeconomic indicators.
