According to United States of America philanthropist Mr. Richard Flynn, Ghana is a secure investment hub in West Africa and throughout Africa, so investors must direct their funds there to support national development.
According to Mr. Richard Flynn, foreigners are encouraged to invest their resources in the country's development because of Ghanaians' unity, love, and respect for mankind, as well as their peaceful cohabitation with other foreigners.
He also stated that he intended to use his contacts and skill set from the US to help the government and the chiefs of Ghana rebuild underdeveloped villages, especially given Ghana's image as a peaceful nation in Africa.
During a ceremony to cut the ground for a cutting-edge community center for the chiefs and residents of New Koforidua in the Ashanti area, the philanthropist revealed this in an interview.
It always amazes me that people are always trying to get to America, which seems to be the dream of every Ghanaian, but my dream is to bring America here because Ghana has everything: family, community, and the whole unit together as one. I have my residency here in Ghana. We came here as a family to this tail end of the country and we are just continuing to stay and enjoy the beautiful country that we are in.
Richard Flynn stated that he was determined to work with the government and the chiefs to bring his skill set and connections from the US to really see Ghana develop, to bring jobs to the area, and to build developmental projects like this. "We are super proud to have started a project here in New Koforidua and then continue our growth," Flynn said.
He views the community center project as a cutting-edge, intricate building that will serve numerous purposes for the residents of New Koforidua.
We are going to erect a full community stunner, which will obviously have stands, be made of concrete, be three-sided, and then have restrooms, dressing rooms, and obviously offices on the other side. It will be a really nice, good-sized project and a great place for the community to meet and come together.
