Before the NDC's May 2023 presidential and parliamentary primaries, the Akatsi South branch of the party, led by Mr. Anthony Kwadzo Owusu (Westfalia), has vowed to mobilize at least 100% of the vote in support of former president H.E. John Dramani Mahama, the NDP's prospective presidential candidate.
The party headed by Mr. Owusu claimed that to defeat other presidential contenders, it was necessary to support an experienced and well-prepared leader since the party wanted a safer, more prosperous, and better country for everyone.
Mr. Samuel B.K. Nugblega, a parliamentary candidate, reiterated the remark made by the Akatsi South constituency on Friday and said that he has selected about 28 coordinators throughout the constituency as part of a strategy to fulfill the party's intended objective.
According to him, "former President John Dramani Mahama will not only bring stability and prosperity, but he will also bring sustainable growth so we can usher in the formation of a new generation of political, business, and economic leaders, create manufacturing opportunities, build new enterprises, provide social infrastructure, mentor new entrepreneurs, and strengthen the small and medium-scale enterprises, which are the cornerstone of any serious and successful country."
But Mr. Samuel B.K. Nugblega asked Akatsi residents both at home and abroad to put aside their political allegiances and see a future in him as the opposition NDC's next parliamentary candidate.
Also, Mr. Japhet Festus Gbede gave a media interview in which he discussed his support for John Dramani Mahama, a former president of Ghana.
It is too late to fail, Mr. Gbede, the outspoken former deputy communication officer candidate, said about some of the crucial criteria. Ghana's success is a given; the country's aspirations must come true.
A child from Sremanu, Have, or Wuxor has the right to a decent life and the chance to fulfill his or her ambitions under the future NDC administration headed by the late President Mahama.
