Real Madrid defeat Eden Hazard saw his transfer value plummet from €150m to a new low following his tumultuous time in the Spanish capital.
Hazard left Stamford Bridge in 2019 to complete a blockbuster move to Madrid, with Los Blancos paying an initial fee of £89m and £60m through multiple add-ons.
However, the 32-year-old Belgian winger picked up an injury during his time with the club in La Liga and struggled to secure a regular spot in the starting XI.
Hazard's contract expires in the summer of 2024 and Madrid are keen to sell the former Chelsea star, who is earning £416,000 a week at the La Liga club.
The former Belgium international has recently announced that he wants to stay at Madrid, although he revealed his relationship with Los Blancos coach Carlo Ancelotti has broken down.
According to Marca, Transfermarkt have dropped their latest update and Hazard's value has dropped to just 5 million euros after the Madrid winger's price dropped by 2.5 million euros.
The Spanish newspaper added that Hazard was worth 150 million euros when he first signed for Madrid.
Hazard last represented Belgium at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar before the Red Devils were knocked out of Group F, with Morocco and Croatia reaching the knockout stages.
After retiring from the national team, Hazard said:
“I knew in advance that I would stop after the World Cup.
“The performance in Qatar did not determine my decision. Of course, it's a shame how it turned out, but my decision was made in advance. It's just time to stop.
“I started thinking about it after the European Championship. I did my best to recover from my ankle injury.
“Unfortunately I couldn't play the quarter-final against Italy and that really made a difference mentally.
“I also played in Madrid with Toni Kroos. He left the German national team two years ago and he told me that when others have international commitments, he can use this time to have fun with his family.
