MANTSE DISAPPOINTED AND THREATENS TO EXPOSE OBRAFOUR OVER DRAKE LAWSUIT

Without any doubt, Ghanaian musician Obrafour is currently in hot waters after the  news that he has sued Drake for the use of the 'Killer Cut' in his song titled 'Calling My Name' broke out.

In as much as many people believe Obrafour's action against Drake is a step in the right direction, another party to the whole issue, Mantse Aryeequaye has popped out. Mantse Aryeequaye has expressed his disappointment in Obrafour over his actions.

According to him ,it will be good if Obrafour tells the general public about the truth surrounding the issue but if he does not, he (Mantse Aryeequaye) would be forced to expose Obrafour over the fact that he has never paid him any dime for any of his works on the songs of Obrafour over the last 20 years.

Interestingly what Mantse Aryeequaye is trying to let people understand is that so far as Obrafour has not paid him any dime , Obrafour cannot in any way lay claim to the 'Killer Cut' and most importantly sue Drake and expect to be compensated alone.

To make matters worse , Mantse Aryeequaye has made it explicitly clear to Drake that he (Mantse Aryeequaye) is the owner of the intellectual property for the 'Killer Cut' sound and the need for him (Drake) to consult Lawyer Kofi Bentil who represents Mantse Aryeequaye in this issue.

According to Mantse, even though he owns the intellectual property of the sound, he maintains that Obrafour only has an interest in the issue but cannot solely lay claim to any compensation for the use of the 'Killer Cut' sound.

Mantse Aryeequaye has also made it clear to Drake that even though Obrafour has interest in the matter, he is not the owner of the right and as such , he cannot assert it, definitely not alone or make any demands for sole compensation for it's use. He reiterated the fact that as the owner of the right covering the 'Killer Cut'sound, he requests Drake to contact his lawyer, Kofi Bentil before he takes any steps regarding claims for compensation for the use for the intellectual property of Mantse Aryeequaye.
