Muslims must continue to follow all of the Quranic precepts of Islam throughout Ramadan, according to Sariki Yussif Nana Fanyinama, the overlord of the Wangara tribe in Ghana.
He stated that in order to benefit from Allah's bounties associated with the holy month, it is best to obey Him and adhere to His teachings.
This was spoken by Nana Fanyinama at the yearly celebration on the 26th night of Ramadan at Kintampo in the Bono East Region.
Lailatul-kadr, or the 26th night of Ramadan, is noteworthy in Islam as the day that God revealed the Quran to Prophet Mohammed.
annual custom
The Wangara tribe of Ghana performs a series of ritualistic actions every year to mark the night in Kintampo, which they see as their spiritual home.
Islamic experts congregate at night to recite the whole Quran aloud, especially for the benefit of people who are illiterate.
Recently, young people have been permitted to participate as well, allowing them to absorb the values ingrained in the occasion.
This is done to inspire the next generation to pick it up and carry it on when the time comes to do so.
The practice is important for the Islamic holiday known as Benkadi Kurubi, according to Nana Fanyinama.
He claimed that the occasion gave the women and kids a place to enjoy themselves independently.
According to legend, on the 27th day of Ramadan, here is where the majority of bachelors came to select their spouses.
Fire Captain
In the meantime, DO3 Dominic Twum Prempeh, the Kintampo North Municipal Fire Commander, has presented a compelling argument for the service's need for enough funding to carry out its duties successfully.
He said that, among other difficulties, the status of the logistics would impair their productivity.
In Kintampo, in the Bono East Region of Ghana, DO3 Prempeh led a team to announce himself as the new Municipal Fire Commander to Sariki Yussif Nana Fanyinama, the Overlord of the Wangara Tribe.
He succeeded DO3 Ankomah Twene.
According to DO3 Prempeh, the local command of the service was questioned because the enclave's access routes were problematic and the fire tender that serviced the municipality needed GH 25,000 in repairs.
To counter the recent string of fire tragedies in the municipality, he claimed to have initiated a media-based education and awareness campaign about fire safety.
The new fire command chief received appreciation from Nana Fanyinama.
However, he bemoaned the absence of access points to aid in efficient fire-related rescue attempts and pleaded with the incoming commander to work with the assembly to address the issue.
