It can be said that this season will not turn out to be one of the best, or even the most memorable in Liverpool's prestigious history.
A fourth place in the Premier League, which still seems unlikely at this stage, will be the Reds' only form of success. Liverpool have just seven games left and are nine points behind fourth-placed Manchester United.
With no trophies at Anfield this season and the threat of no Champions League spot next season, some questions have been raised about Jürgen Klopp's future as manager for a number of quarters, though The club fully supports the Germans, and so do the players. fan. Alisson Becker has spoken about the importance of having Klopp as the club's coach. It was he who convinced the Brazilian to move to Anfield from Roma in a deal worth $81m (£65m/€73m) in the summer of 2018.
What has not helped Liverpool this season is the constant string of injuries. Only recently did Luis Díaz, Thiago Alcântara and Curtis Jones return to the team.
According to Alisson, it is these three players who will be an important factor in helping Liverpool win in the final weeks of the season. It all starts with a trip to West Ham on Wednesday, before hosting top four rivals Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield on Sunday.
"Having him (Klopp) with us is great," Alisson said on Liverpool's official matchday program following Saturday's win over Nottingham Forest.
"We trust him. The club trusts him and that's what the team needed to get out of a difficult situation. So we will fight for him, we will fight for the fans. grave, for everyone - for ourselves, for our families, to achieve our goals for the rest of the season. "I don't think we need to talk about the Champions League. Of course that's our big goal, but first we have to think about our performances and improve on them.

“We've had Thiago, Curtis Jones and Luis Díaz in recent weeks, which is important because they bring strength and power to the team and a lot of quality. So we have to think game by game, step by step and focus on improving our performance, getting points and getting back on the winning track."
Not only Díaz, Thiago and Jones are absent this season. Liverpool were also forced to leave Virgil van Dijk, Diogo Jota, Darwin Núñez, Naby Keïta, Ibrahima Konaté, Arthur Melo, Stefan Baj?eti? and Calvin Ramsay sidelined throughout the season.
Roberto Firmino, along with Baj?eti? and Ramsay, are, at the time of this writing, the only injuries Liverpool have at the moment (where Keïta is currently unknown). With just seven games left, any form of injury could keep a player out for the rest of the campaign.
