Pensioners to Picket at Ministry of Finance Again Over DDEP
Pensioners’ bondholders in Ghana have served notice to the Ghana Police Service that they will resume their gathering at the Ministry of Finance to register their total displeasure at how the government has failed to honour its obligations owed to them.
Although they wrote a letter to the government and were assured of payment by the 21st of April, the government failed to honour its obligations again, which has compelled the Pensioners’ bondholders to take action.
Sadly, another extension to give the government room to make payments has failed, even after another extension to 28th April 2023. The group prior to today 28th April informed the government that it will resume picketing at the Ministry of Finance if their coups and principals are not paid on or before 28th April 2023.
On what date will Pensioners picket at the Ministry of Finance Again Over DDEP?
Pensioners’ bondholders will therefore resume their picketing at the Ministry of Finance from 8th May 2023 from 10 am to 11 am each day until what is due them is paid.
