A Ghanaian parent in the United States of America (USA) has criticized a school policy that permits kids to become LGBTQ+ with teachers' or another official's assistance without consulting their parents.
According to him, the approach would allow "predators who are gradually creeping into the school system to destroy" access.
The Ghanaian, who went by the name Neil Acheampong during the conference, made a compelling argument against the establishment of the new policy that ignores parental agreement in the transition of pupils into other transgender groups in a video that was posted on social media.

The founder and senior pastor of Family Life Chapel spoke at a local town meeting in Maryland and explained that "Policy 443" is a worrying policy.
"There is an issue that actually bothers me about it, and I want to just make that clear if there will be a review of the policy in regards to the fact that asking my child if they could be transgender and then having a teacher or someone else in the [school] system help the child to make that decision without going through the parent is actually disturbing," he said.
He claims that the policy needs to be revised since it eliminates the parent's position as the child's first line of defense during such a crucial decision-making process.
"I believe the policy has to be reexamined because, if my five-year-old were to cross the street alone, I would never do it out of instinct as a parent." Because a parent is a child's first line of defense, he said, "I think we need to go back to those basic things."
He observed that, in the case of Policy 443, parents are being removed while the approval of parents is required for actions that, in his opinion, should be straightforward, such as the administration of painkillers to children at school.
He said that a few weeks prior, when his daughter was ill and required pain medicine, he was summoned and forced to arrive in person.
"I occasionally sign paperwork for sun screen and parental approval." Except for this, everything else in the world requires parental authorization. Therefore, I'm wondering what's going on. I see a door being opened for predators who are slowly infiltrating the educational system to wreak havoc. I kindly request that you return and review Policy 443 in order to prevent the destruction of your hard work.
"I'll rely on you to do good deeds and will pray for you often." Please think it over again, and let's change it, but for this one thing. "We are creating a society that should prosper tomorrow, rather than raising children who are confused.".
