The Student Health and Safety Management Excellence Award has been given to the Onua Francis International School in Gomoa Buduburam in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region.

In order to monitor student mobility and classroom activities, Mr. Essel-Okyeahene said that every classroom was equipped with closed-circuit television cameras. He also added that there were enough cameras installed in the school's environs to further improve security.
He said that the school was well-fenced with wire mesh to deter thieves and criminal activity and that it had hired experienced security personnel to oversee all entry and exit points.
