The collaboration between Delta Air Lines and Junior Achievement (JA) Africa will help 60 chosen Ghanaian university students tomorrow (June 2) at MakeLab, Academic City University College, during an invention camp. 


As the young people must provide answers to actual business scenarios, the one-day training promotes creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and problem solving.



The team from JA Africa will work with assistance from representatives from Delta to train and advise the pupils all day long.

It is anticipated that the students will take part in the workshop on innovation and design thinking, which will be conducted by a resource from Academic City's Technology and Innovation Centre.


The airline claimed in a statement that by using actual case studies and interactive experiences, the collaboration between Delta Air Lines and Junior Achievement (JA) Africa will help 60 chosen Ghanaian university students tomorrow (June 2) at MakeLab, Academic City University College, during an invention camp.

The airline claimed in a statement that by using actual case studies and interactive experiences, Junior Achievement Africa, a division of Junior Achievement Worldwide, is one of Africa's biggest groups dedicated to empowering young people economically.


"Delta sponsors 32 Junior Achievement chapters on five continents to educate youngsters about entrepreneurship, employment preparedness, and financial literacy.



"JA Africa has a presence in 13 sub-Saharan African countries and collectively reaches more than 300,000 young people and more than 3000 schools every year," it said.

Eloina Baddoo, the sales manager for Ghana, Liberia, and Cote d'Ivoire at Delta, commented on the programme, saying, "We are thrilled to bring the Delta Innovation Camp to Ghana.


She remarked, "The company's commitment to developing the next generation of leaders is consistent with this event.


According to her, the business thought that by giving students a space to unleash their creativity, "we can contribute to their personal and professional development."
