Former Chief Executive Officer of the microblogging platform and company Twitter has sparked conversations about the latest tweet he made. Jack Dorsey who designed and owned Twitter for years left the company in the hands of a new CEO Parag Awal who later along with the board and directors sold the app to Tesla and Starlink owner Elon Musk for a whopping $44 billion. After the purchase of the app, Elon Musk made a couple of changes and added some cool features which has got people praising him and comparing the current state of Twitter by Elon Musk to that of Jack’s. According to most users, Elon’s era is more fun than that of Jack’s.
Today, the 4th of June, Jack took to his official Twitter timeline and tweeted “The end of an empire” and got people talking. A few of the reactions gathered from his tweet are highlighted below;
@Punk8745
“@jack, not sure how to ask this respectfully, but.
why would anyone on Twitter today want to hear
from you after you left it in shambles? The Twitter
files revealed at best negligence by you and at worst
complicit behavior. Elon has had to work
tirelessly to fix your censored and broken version of
the global town square. "] didn't know" doesn't cut it.. perhaps running one company properly would have been a better use of time... ya know, "jack" of all trades, master of none. So why is your voice relevant here? eg tweeting FK jr and Elon about their Spaces”,
@DingDaVinci
“Bruhhh never underestimate the resilience of
humanity. Humanity's resilience and adaptability are
inherent qualities that enable us to learn from past
mistakes, rebuild our societies, and harness our
collective knowledge to create a better future,
ensuring our continual rise despite the setbacks of
lost civilizations”.
@Rapahelz.
"Throughout history, many nations have suffered:
physical defeat, but that has never marked the
end of a nation. But when a nation has become
the victim of a psychological defeat, then that
marks the end of a nation”.
