In Istanbul, Inter will face off against English double champions Manchester City, with Pep Guardiola's team heavy favorites to complete the same treble achieved by Manchester United's archrivals in 1999.
However, Inzaghi has urged his team to face the task head-on as they try to duplicate their predecessors' accomplishment in 2010.
At a press conference, the 47-year-old head coach stated: "I know we'll play the current strongest squad in the world. Faced with the greatest.
"With all due respect, I'm not terrified of anything, but we're talking about a football game.
"Guardiola has ushered in a new era as the best coach in the world. We are respected, but we are also happy to have reached the final, which is something we worked extremely hard to do.
It will be the final of 57 games in which even the much-discussed losses helped us advance to where we are on Saturday.
Inzaghi responded, "Yes, it is, for me and my players, the biggest game of my long career.
The semi-finals have included [Andre] Onana and [Edin] Dzeko, but no one has ever advanced to the final. It rewards us for all of our efforts throughout the year.
Even though the 52-goal City striker Erling Haaland has only scored once in his past seven games, the most of the attention in the lead-up to the game has been on the threat he poses to Inter's hopes.
"Haaland said City bought him to win the Champions League, but City isn't just Haaland; they have a number of players who can put us in trouble," added Inzaghi, who revealed he had unintentionally run into Guardiola at a New York hotel during his honeymoon in 2019.
