Leicester City have confirmed that seven players will leave the club after their terrible 22/23 season ended in relegation.
The 15/16 Premier League champions experienced a bad season under Brendan Rodgers and Dean Smith before their relegation was confirmed on the final day of the season.
As the Foxes prepare for life in English football's second division, many players are expected to leave the King Power Stadium.

On Monday, it was confirmed that seven players will leave Leicester at the end of their contracts.
Leicester announced the news on Twitter saying:
"Seven professionals are among those confirmed to leave #lcfc when their contracts expire in June. "The club thanks all seven players for their contributions during their time with us and wishes them every success in their careers."
As expected, Belgian midfielder Youri Tielemans is leaving after posting an emotional farewell message on Instagram last week.

While at Leicester, Tielemans scored the winning goal of the FA Cup in 2021.
In addition to Tielemans, Caglar Soyuncu, Daniel Amartey, Nampalys Mendy, Ryan Bertrand, Ayoze Perez and Tete were also released.

Turkish centre-back Soyuncu has been linked with a move to Spain's La Liga with Atletico Madrid reportedly interested.

Meanwhile, Tete will return to Shakhtar Donetsk after signing a short-term contract during the January transfer window.
Spanish winger Perez spent the second half of the 22/23 campaign on loan at Real Betis in La Liga and will now leave the club permanently.
Away, Leicester have decided to offer a contract extension for midfielder Hamza Choudhury until June 2024.
While negotiations are ongoing over the future of veteran defender Jonny Evans, whose contract expires at the end of the month. Advertisement
