Five clubs are interested in signing Manchester United wonderkid Amad Diallo on loan this summer, according to a new report.

The Ivory Coast international recently completed a season-long loan deal at Sunderland, where he helped the young Black Cats reach the Championship play-offs.

Amad scored 14 goals in 39 league appearances, including a play-off semi-final against Luton, and scored the opening goal in a 3-0 win over Preston North End to secure a top-six spot.

Speaking to Sky Sports after the game, the 20-year-old said he would be interested in a return to Sunderland if promotion to the Premier League was guaranteed.

Tony Mowbray's side eventually lost 3-2 on aggregate to Luton in the semifinals, but Amad later responded to a report that a move to the Black Cats on loan was still possible. with tomorrow handle emoji. However, Sunderland will likely face competition to re-sign a temporary contract. The Sun's Alan Nixon claimed in May that United could choose to loan him to a Dutch Eredivisie club because they are a "less physical league".

Now a new report claims that five clubs could try to bring in the striker in the next transfer window.

5 clubs want to loan Amad

According to Football Transfers, Sunderland is one of the clubs interested in signing Amad this summer - but Premier League sides are now interested.

The report claims Burnley, West Ham and Everton, plus an unnamed fifth club, are all monitoring the Ivory Coast player ahead of a potential move. However, it is added that United are not interested in selling Amad outright this summer, meaning any deal would be a loan deal.

A fifth club could be Eredivisie champions Feyenoord, with Dutch newspaper 1908 reporting last month that the Arne Slot side had "internal discussions" about signing the 20-year-old. Amad was due to join Feyenoord on loan in 2021, reportedly with a buy option, although the move fell through after he picked up an injury during training with United.
