Chelsea star N'Golo Kanté will join Al Ittihad on a free transfer, an official offer likely to be accepted soon. The salary of 100 million euros per season until 2025 includes commercial agreements, image rights and a "creative" portfolio. Final details are being discussed and then an agreement will be made when Kanté will leave Chelsea as a free agent. Al Ittihad directors have just arrived in London to join the Saudi PIF delegation to prepare the document.

Kanté will play with Benzema at Al Ittihad. Christian Pulisic, who is expected to leave this summer as Chelsea are ready to let him go. AC Milan is one of the clubs interested in Pulisic, with reports that he has been mentioned in recent negotiations with Chelsea. Negotiations for Loftus Cheek stalled after Maldini was fired. Manchester United agree a deal to sign Chelsea star Mason Mount, City are close to Matteo Kovacic and Real Madrid are interested in Kai Havertz.

Wilfried Zaha has yet to reach an agreement with Al Nassr at this stage. The Saudi club approached him but was of no help. Zaha's priority remains European football, which attracts strong interest from Champions League clubs.

With only 7 days left until the summer transfer window opens, Man United has prepared a series of offers before returning to the Champions League next season.

Manchester United's unique hat-trick could be usurped by Manchester City this weekend, but to be fair, Erik ten Hag's attention will be far from what's happening in Istanbul.

The Dutchman is eyeing a string of big-name signings as he looks to build on a promising season at Old Trafford, leading the club to the League Cup and finishing in third, guaranteed back to the Football League championship. But he knows that if his side are to shine in Europe's top league, let alone attempt to win the Premier League, more reinforcements are needed.

Transfer speculation so far has largely focused on the pursuit of Harry Kane, with a new striker certainly on Ten Hag's wish list. But attack is not the only area that the Red Devils are looking to strengthen. Here are the latest news from Old Trafford.

MU is about to bid to buy Bayern's midfielder

United are interested in signing Bayern Munich midfielder Leon Goretzka, who will be replaced by the German giants if they sign West Ham captain Declan Rice.

A report from Sky Germany claims that part of Bayern's plans to sign Rice will include a move to Goretzka. While United are interested in signing the West Ham star, the report adds that they could see the Germany international as an alternative instead.

The former Schalke midfielder was substituted in the final game of the campaign after coming on earlier in the second half. Tuchel has apologized to the player for his strategic action but it is seen as a clear indicator of his future at the club.

Serie A breaks up

Kim Min-jae has parted company with Napoli and Manchester United are set to activate their Ł51m release clause in July.

Kim, 26, has been linked for months with a move to Old Trafford in the summer despite only moving to Napoli last year. The South Korean international had a fantastic season playing in the club's remarkable Serie A title campaign, but his contract has a release clause that eliminates any negotiation.

A report by CalcioNapoli24 described how Kim bid farewell to Napoli fans and teammates in Sunday's final Serie A game of the campaign - a win over Sampdoria. The same report claims that Napoli are keen to keep the South Korean star but cannot match United's financial package.

United's 'brand' soars

Manchester City has been named football's most valuable brand after overtaking Real Madrid in first place - but there's also a boost for United.

The Old Trafford club jumped five places from ninth to fourth with an 11 per cent increase to Ł1.174 billion, ahead of Liverpool. However, the two clubs are hard to separate. Liverpool's brand value rose 9% to Ł1.173 billion and dropped one place to fifth. Barcelona is third on the list. As for the rest of the top 10, Paris Saint-Germain is in sixth place with Ł976m, with Bayern Munich, Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea taking the top spots.
