Black is appointed club CEO.
Dave Black, a devoted lifelong supporter of Livingston, has been named the club's new CEO after John Ward was promoted to chairman.
Robert Wilson, who announced his retirement last week, was replaced as CEO by Ward, who has held the position since 2016.
Black has been the club's business development manager and head of commercial and media operations since 2020, but he has a lengthy history with the organization.
When the team received consecutive promotions, Ward recalled, "the board thought we needed to put a proper structure around the business side of things. So I took on the role of CEO.
"It was always an unpaid, voluntary position for me, and because of my outside business interests, I am rarely located at the club itself and travel most weeks.
"We believe the club needed a CEO who is physically present in the building on a daily basis and who can assist the personnel in effectively managing the commercial side of things. I think Dave has earned this chance since he has gained strength and talent while he has been here.
"I've been a Livingston supporter since that first game back in 1995, and I've traveled both home and away as a supporter ever since," Black said.
I've worked as a ball boy, a mascot, a programme seller, a bartender, ran the club shop, managed the supporters football team, assisted in running the supporters bus, served on the board of the Supporters Trust, and managed the club social media accounts before it became my job.
"It was amazing for me to join the club in 2020 as a full-time employee to then directly impact the club I loved, and to have now been afforded the chance to directly have an influence at board level on the day-to-day running of things is incredibly exciting and something I'm proud to have achieved."
