Manchester United scored the fewest of the Premier League's top six teams last season and Erik ten Hag is keen to improve on that record next season.
The Red Devils will remedy the situation this summer by bringing in a new No 9 at Old Trafford. A number of strikers have been linked with English clubs and now Inter Milan star Lautaro Martínez could make the list.
Football agent Mario Cenolli has told TV Play that Manchester United have "requested information" about the 25-year-old.
He mentioned that the Red Devils have contacted the Argentina international to explain the English club's interest in Napoli star Victor Osimhen. It should be noted that Cenolli does not represent Martínez.
The World Cup champion has scored 28 goals and has 11 assists in 56 appearances this season but his immediate target will be the Champions League final between Inter and Manchester City on Saturday.
When that's over, however, regardless of the outcome of the game, Martínez could become Ten Hag's new target to solve Manchester United's problems in attack next season.
