John Kennedy, a former teammate of Craig Beattie's at Celtic, has the potential to become a "great manager," but he may decide that pursuing his career under Ange Postecoglou will advance his goals.
When he officially takes office on July 1, the new Tottenham manager reportedly intends to bring assistant manager Kennedy and Gavin Strachan to north London.
Prior to the Australian taking charge, Kennedy, who had previously worked for Ronny Deila, Brendan Rodgers, and Neil Lennon, served as interim manager in 2021.
Before Steven Naismith received an extended contract, the 39-year-old was rumored to be a candidate for the Hearts and Celtic jobs.
Beattie predicted that if Postecoglou wants to keep their professional relationship going, Kennedy would have to make a difficult choice.
