The CEO of Lega Serie A has confirmed that Italy's top international airline will adopt a new name.
Coach Luigi de Ciervo has detailed plans for Serie A to embark on a journey to "regain international leadership" and strengthen its overall position in a number of ways.
It's been a fruitful period for Serie A lately, with Inter Milan reaching the Champions League final this season. Not to mention Napoli's first league title in 33 years.
The 54-year-old now hopes to build on that success by building an even more attractive brand that can compete with the likes of Europe's top two, La Liga and the Premier League.

Speaking to the Spanish publication AS about his plans, De Siervo mentioned, among other things, renaming Italy's top international flights to 'Serie A Made in Italy'.
"We have embarked on a journey to reclaim our position as international leaders," he said. “We make a higher quality, more interesting product. We have 66% of the actual playback time, but we are missing 33% that we need to make more attractive, such as the cameras used in movies. ”

"We compete with Netflix and Amazon for people's free time. The success of our club is no accident, building such a good product attracts more investors. Italy is The foundation is starting to look at Italy because it's been the best league for decades and the league with the most potential."
The 54-year-old added:
“The stadium needs improvement, but the beauty of our city is unique. And while four different teams have won the Scudetto in the last four seasons, this doesn't happen in any other country.
"We have a €10 million contract with the government per season and our foreign league is called Serie A Made in Italy. Serie A is on the road to regaining international leadership."

As mentioned earlier, Serie A is aiming to be on par with La Liga, and De Cielvo admits he is inferior to the Spanish Premier League in terms of height.
"La Liga began its international growth journey 15 years ago," he added. "We are paying for this delay." I can say it self-critically, when we were at the top, we were betting on the Italian crowd and ultimately limiting ourselves.
“Today we have changed, and even if we have different ideas, we see the Spanish model as a well-organized and working system.
"The race is on, it's a very friendly rivalry between the two leagues. La Liga is the tournament with the deeper connection for us."
