Meanwhile, Kumi, who signed his first professional deal with the Italian club in August of last year, has confirmed his departure from the club at the end of the 2022/23 season.

Kumi expressed his gratitude to the club and his teammates who made his stint at the club memorable in a touching Instagram post."I don't even know where to start and what to write because I don't know if a right comment for this post exists and I never wanted to write it because we were all hoping for another ending," he wrote."I leave by saying thank you, thank you for so many things, for including me in this family, for allowing me to experience the most beautiful season of my life, for having met wonderful people like you, and for all the wonderful times we shared."

"This year has been a fantastic year; we started undefeated, but with our strength every day, we have shown everyone how much we are worth, both as a team and as a family off the field; in fact, we managed to get into the top four teams in Italy, which was a surprise at the start of the championship for everyone." It would have been unfathomable for anyone, but not for us because we had known each other since the first time we met."It was a tough year, we ate a lot of shit but we enjoyed a lot and all together for individual and team successes," said the promising midfielder, who has already represented Italy at the juvenile level.

"I'm truly sorry I wasn't on the field with you at the most important moment of the season, and you have no idea how much I suffered watching you play and not being able to help you like I always tried to do during the season because this was the moment we talked about every night together looking into each other's eyes and only dreaming about the day that would come, but I have to tell you that you made me proud of you and the team we have."
