The Uruguayan has had an illustrious career. After leaving Atletico Madrid, he recently returned to boyhood club Nacional.

8. Diego Forlan, 2 European Golden Boots

Thierry Henry and Forlan shared the 2005 European Golden Shoe. As well as helping Villarreal finish third in La Liga and overtake Henry to win the Golden Shoe, Diego showed his worth at the game. club.

A total of 25 goals were scored by each striker. At Atletico Madrid during the 2008-09 campaign, Diego Forlan once again won the Golden Boot.

Mario Jardel's failure is a terrible tragedy considering his talent and excellence.

5. Ally McCoist, 2 European Golden Shoes
