Liverpool have made it clear to Fabio Carvalho that he is not part of Jurgen Klopp's plans for next season, according to a report that has attracted the attention of top bidders.

Carvalho only joined Liverpool last summer from Fulham, but the attacking midfielder has struggled to find regular place in Klopp's system. By the end of his first season with the club, he had only started four times in the Premier League.

Therefore, it is likely that Carvalho will not play for Liverpool next season. The only question is whether he will be loaned out or sold. Liverpool's preference for any exit is only temporary as they still have contract-able potential until 2027.

However, Carvalho is afraid of being loaned out and may want to leave permanently if possible.

With that in mind, reports have recently emerged that RB Leipzig have made an offer for the 20-year-old. However, their attempt to bring him to Germany was rejected by Liverpool.

However, according to an update from Football Insider, the Bundesliga team is ready to make a second offer for Liverpool. Their previous approach was to transfer over £10m, which would have turned Liverpool a profit. It is not yet known what the value of their second offer might be.

But they are not yet ready to give up the transfer, although Liverpool have initially said that Carvalho is not for sale.

At the same time, they tell the player himself that Klopp is not thinking about his role next season. Therefore, it is clearly in his interest to look for opportunities elsewhere. Liverpool can sell Carvalho on one condition

As has been suggested, Liverpool could tell RB Leipzig they could have Carvalho on a permanent transfer, but only if there is a buy-out clause in the Premier League's favor.

In this way, Liverpool can still have some control over Carvalho's career, while possibly allowing him to leave permanently.

Behind Carvalho's desire for a permanent transfer is the theory that whoever buys him should intend to use him more often. That doesn't happen in Liverpool, of course, but it could be a different story elsewhere.

A number of promising talents have developed in the Bundesliga in recent years, giving Carvalho a way forward. Additionally, the report reiterates that he has admirers in Burnley, Brentford and West Ham. However, if any of them have to fight for relegation next season, there are fears they will see giving Carvalho a chance as a risk.

Therefore, the idea of ??joining RB Leipzig - the team that, unlike Liverpool, offers a Champions League spot next season - is particularly appealing when things remain stable.

Now the ball is in their court as they prepare to make the next offer to his current owners at Liverpool.
