In the symphony of football, where precision orchestrates the rhythm of the game, there exists a group of maestros who paint the field with their artistry. They are the conductors of the beautiful game, the masters of the threaded pass, and the visionary architects of fluidity. In the realm of completed passes, where every connection weaves the fabric of victory, a select few players have left their mark on the canvas of greatness in the most esteemed competition of all.

Leading this illustrious list is the majestic Rodri, a midfield general whose elegant touch and impeccable distribution have enchanted spectators. With a staggering 849 passes completed, he commands the pitch like a maestro commands an orchestra, effortlessly conducting the flow of the game.

Close on his heels, we find the indomitable Ruben Dias, a defensive titan with a vision that transcends his position. His 835 completed passes are a testament to his ability to build from the back, threading intricate webs of possession that lay the foundation for his team's success.

Toni Kroos, the embodiment of technical finesse, claims the third spot with 820 passes completed. His graceful presence in the heart of the midfield is a testament to his ability to dictate the tempo of the game, leaving opponents chasing shadows.

Manuel Akanji and Marco Verratti complete this constellation of pass-master brilliance with 686 and 636 passes, respectively. Their ability to find pockets of space and execute pinpoint passes has set them apart, leaving onlookers captivated by their sublime skill.

Moyes on celebrating Bowen winner: No way I could do a full Mourinho!

West Ham boss David Moyes admits he pulled back from doing 'a full Mourinho' when celebrating Jarrod Bowen's winner last night.

Bowen struck the decisive goal as West Ham defeated Fiorentina in the Europa Conference League final.

“The minute Jarrod went through I was edging down the touchline; if there was anybody who was going to score it was going to be Jarrod," Moyes said.

“I couldn't do the full Mourinho because I can't slide on my knees and the grass was a bit dry, and I didn't want to fall on my belly."

The Scot continued: “We've turned what we felt was a disappointing season into a super season. To play in the Premier League and to play in European football, especially in the Europa League or Conference League, has been a difficult situation, but we've managed to get through both [Premier League and Europa Conference League]. This competition has been terrific for us."

As he celebrated on the pitch, Moyes draped his winners' medal around the neck of 87-year-old father David Sr.

“I thought that he was the first one I should get it round his neck," Moyes said after the game. “I hope he's enjoying it and he can enjoy what's going on [later] tonight as well."
