To win the Premier League title for the first time since 2013, Manchester United are planning a significant financial investment this summer.

Given that the Red Devils have taken steps to improve their squad, Erik ten Hag will have some backing in the upcoming summer transfer market.

The Dutchman recently called for reinforcements in what appeared to be a major squad overhaul, urging United's management to sign 'better players'.

And according to talkSPORT, they have reached agreement on personal terms with Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount, 24, which means they are getting closer to signing him.

Ten Hag's top target is South Korean midfielder Kim Min-jae, who has helped Napoli break a 23-year Scudetto drought.

Besides Tottenham's all-time leading scorer, Harry Kane, Brentford goalkeeper David Raya and West Ham midfielder Declan Rice are also on the club's radar. Although the England captain has only a year left on his contract, Spurs are said to be confident of keeping him in north London beyond the summer.

Some fan-favorite stocks will have to be dumped if United are to achieve their top goal.

And that includes Anthony Martial, the French striker could leave Old Trafford after eight seasons.

But how will they fit all of their title signings? TalkSPORT.com looks at what Ten Hag's roster might look like in the upcoming campaign. Goalie:

David Raya

David de Gea's contract expires at the end of the month, leaving Raya, who is valued at around £40m by Brentford, likely to be a key catch in goal.

Ten Hag does not guarantee that De Dea will be his first choice for the next campaign, although United have the option of extending the Spaniard's contract by a year.

Defense:

Diogo Dalot, Kim Min-jae, Raphael Varane and Luke Shaw

Diogo Dalot, who has just signed a new contract that runs until 2028 with the option of a further 12 months, will start at right-back.

After that, Luke Shaw would play on the other side after every game for Ten Hag.

Former Real Madrid star Raphael Varane is likely to continue to play in the center of the defense, possibly partnering with Min-jae. It is not clear if Lisandro Martinez, who has often partnered with him at center back this season, is ready for pre-season due to a foot condition.

Environment :

Rice Casemiro, Mont and Declan

Therefore, Ten Hag's only defensive midfielder will be Casemiro, Varane's former teammate at Los Blancos.

Mount and Rice can start on either side of him and function as box-to-box midfielders.

As a result, Bruno Fernandes will have to drift to the right and Chrstian Eriksen will be pushed to the bench.

Although this season, when Ten Hag caught Marcel Sabitzer and Eriksen together, United's replacement captain Harry Maguire regularly played there. Sabitzer currently plays for United on loan from Bayern Munich, but it is believed United will not make the deal permanent.

striker:

Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford and Harry Kane

Jadon Sancho and Antony will be on the bench if Fernandes starts on the right wing.

Marcus Rashford, who is enjoying his most productive season to date and has contributed 30 goals and 11 assists in all competitions, will play on the left wing.

If United and Spurs reach an agreement on a price for the 29-year-old, Kane will be in the lead.
