Prior to playing Inter Milan on Saturday, the Manchester City striker, who has 52 goals this season, had scored only once in his previous seven outings.
Concerns concerning Erling Haaland's performance in the lead-up to the Saturday Champions League final have been dismissed.
In his incredible debut season with Manchester City, Haaland scored 52 goals, but he has only scored once in his previous seven games.
It is a run that has drawn attention since it comes just before one of the biggest games in City's history, when they play Inter Milan in Istanbul for the continent's top trophy.
Haaland, though, believes there is no need for concern as he is not experiencing the affects of a lengthy and difficult season.
"You can think of it as one goal in seven games or 52 goals in 52 games and eight assists," the Norwegian striker added. "There are two ways to think about it. I'm not anxious. I feel fantastic.
This season, Haaland has had little issue putting down detractors.
Before joining City last summer, there were rumors that he would require some time to adjust. These rumors only grew after he missed a golden opportunity on his debut against Liverpool in the Community Shield.
Even after he returned in spectacular fashion by scoring 27 goals before the end of December, it was thought that his presence would be hindering City's progress given their patchy performance at the time.
When people start criticizing you, "I think often it's a good thing," he stated. "I scored in every game, and after that, people started to criticize me. Basically, that's what happened.
"It's usually a good thing when you receive criticism from others. Simply try to grin a little and have fun with life.
"In the Community Shield, I squandered a few significant opportunities. It can and will happen once more.
How can you help? Nothing. We need to concentrate on the upcoming task or game, which is what I did. In the following game, I scored twice, so it wasn't a bad start.
