ASANTE KOTOKO YOUTH TEAM WINS BIG AGAINST SAVVY FC

In line with preparations for their division 3 middle league that comes off very soon at the alignment astro turf. Kumasi Asante Kotoko's youth team play a friendly game with Savvy football club the the Adako Jachie training grounds. And that was a very good exercise. Goals flowed and they came from the likes of Louis Asante, Bismarck Ofori, Godbless Amoah, Clement Appiah Kubi, Jordan Amissah who has had some taste of first team football also in the score sheet was Takyi Addison and the captain of the side who is Solomon Kwaku Sah who is also known as kante. The team would play against Agya FC on the 28th of May which is just this next Thursday in the round of 32 of the middle league and would land them in next season's division two if the do well. 


All we here can do is to raise awareness a also wish them good luck on this journey of theirs. 


On its collaboration with TTU’s Centre for Gender and Advocacy, George Say said this is a strategic relationship us hopes to enlarge to the whole University to encourage volunteerism among the students and support the advocacy programmes of the Centre for Gender and Advocacy in the University and beyond. In her response, Headmistress of the Catholic Special Vocational School, Rose Margaret Kwofie, thanked us and Centre for Gender and Advocacy for choosing the school to mark the 2025 Good Deeds Day with assorted food items included bags of rice, drinks, soaps, toiletries among others. She also appealed to other persons and institutions to support the school with, washing machine, good access road, renovation and expansion of hostels and classrooms among others. In her part, the Director of TTU’s Centre for Gender and Advocacy, Prof. Ann Doodo said the centre’s new relationship with the group falls within its mandate of advocating for all groups persons including the vulnerable and hopes to formalize the relationship and more importantly, deepen the spirit of volunteerism among students.
