Food for your soul

Matthew 1:2123 21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins. 22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, 23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

The magnificent good news of the New Testament includes the revelation that God is not only a distant God but also a God who is present within us. With us in a variety of ways.

With us as we navigate life; readily available to assist. Though not far, they are disconnected from the problems we face. Not challenging to get to, but only a prayer away.

With us in comprehending what it is like to inhabit the planet and deal with the issues and challenges we all encounter.

With us understanding what it's like to go through suffering and loss.

With us understanding what it's like to be rejected, hated, and uncleared.

Together with us in understanding what it feels like to be starving and unable to eat. With us understanding how challenging fighting sin may be. With us understanding what it's like to be under the devil's attack.

HEBREWS 4:15 15 Behold, a virgin shall be with child and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

God visited the earth. He grew into a man. Jesus went through the same things as us, yet He always walked in victory. Jesus will lead you to victory as well if you let Him.

Jesus Christ of Nazareth

Always know God is with us.

His Love endureth forever.

When we realized He is with us, we have found hope and victory.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave him only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Prayer: God is really with me! He is here to assist me and is sympathetic.

God, don't leave me alone when I need you.
