Ange Postecoglou, who was hired as the head coach of Tottenham, has pledged to build "a team to get excited by" as he pursues success.

After leading Celtic to the domestic treble in Canada, the Australian assumes the position and signs a four-year deal with Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

After Antonio Conte was fired in March, Ryan Mason and Cristian Stellini served as temporary managers before Postecoglou, 57, assumed control.

After a disastrous season in which Spurs finished ninth, their lowest Premier League position since 2008, Postecoglou is eager to get things moving in the right direction.

In a video message shared on the team's social media sites, he remarked, "It's fantastic to finally get started as manager of this great football club."
